The following are the class skills for the Explorer
- Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Explorers are proficient with all simple weapons and handaxe, hand crossbow, kukri, short sword, longsword, rapier, scimitar, and whip. Explorers are proficient with light armor, but not with shields.
- All over the world
The explorer never stops wandering the world, honing his skills and nosing around in new places. At 1st level, he gains a +2 on all heal, knowledge (geography), and survival skills. He also gains an additional starting bonus language.
- Direction sense +2
At 1st level, the explorer gains a +2 competence bonus with all skill checks made to navigate from place to place, regardless of the skill being used. This bonus increases by an additional +1 at 4th level and every 4 class levels gained thereafter.
At 2nd level an explorer gains a bonus equal to half his levels in explorer to any 1+ Intelligence modifier to the following skills; craft, decipher script, disable device, knowledge (all), spellcraft, and use magic device.
at 11th level he gains this bonus on 2 additional skills.
at 18th level he gains this bonus on 2 additional skills.
- Bonus feat
At 3rd level and for every other class level gained thereafter, the explorer gains a bonus feat which must be selected from the following list; Acrobatic, Agile, Alertness, Aquatic training, Artic training, Athletic, Blind-Fight, Brachiation†, Combat Expertise, Danger Sense†, Desert training, Dodge, Endurance, Far Shot, Forest training, Great Fortitude, Hear the Unseen†, Improved Initiative, Improved Swimming†, Iron Will, Jungle training, Lightning Reflexes, Magician, Master fence, Mimic, Mobility, Mountain training, Outdoor, Persuasive, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Quick Draw, Quick Reconnoiter†, Rapid Reload, Run, Shot on the Run, Scholarly, Skill Focus, Spring Attack, Stealthy, Swamp training, Toughness, Track, Two-weapon fighting, Urban training. He must meet all the prerequisites for the feat.
- Uncanny dodge
Starting at 4th level, an explorer can react to danger before his senses would normally allow him to do so. He retains his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) even if he is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. However, he still loses his Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized.
If an explorer already has uncanny dodge from a different class he automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead.

at 6th level Increase the bonus on heal, knowledge (geography), and survival checks by another +1 to +3. Also gain an additional bonus language from the following list; Draconic, Dwarven, Elven, Giant, Gnome, Goblin, Gnoll, Halfling, Orc, Sylvan, Undercommon.
- Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex)
An explorer of 8th level or higher can no longer be flanked.
This defense denies a rogue the ability to sneak attack the character by flanking him, unless the attacker has at least four more rogue levels than the target does.
If a character already has uncanny dodge from a second class, the character automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead, and the levels from the classes that grant uncanny dodge stack to determine the minimum explorer level required to flank the character.
- Danger Sense (Melee)
at 9th level, the explorer may use his keen wits to avoid harm, so long as he is no more then lightly encumbered and either wearing no armor or light armor, the explorer may add his Intelligence modifier to his armor class against melee and unarmed attacks.
- Rugged at 10th level the explorer’s Constitution score rises by 2
At 20th level the explorer’s Constitution score rises by an additional 2 (for a total rise of 4)

at 12th level Increase the bonus on heal, knowledge (geography), and survival checks by another +1 to +4. Also gain an additional bonus language from the following list; Aquan, Auran, Draconic, Dwarven, Elven, Giant, Gnome, Goblin, Gnoll, Halfling, Ignan, Orc, Sylvan, Terran, Undercommon.
at 14th level the explorer’s fortune reaches a zenith and he may slip out of even the most shocking circumstances (largely) unscathed. Whenever the explorer 1 or more hit points remaining and suffers enough damage to lower his hit points to below 0 he is instead reduced to 0 instead.
This ability is applied every time the explorer suffers at least 1 point of damage (after damage reduction and other damage reducing abilities are applied), regardless of the source of damage. The explorer’s ability affects damage from attacks, falls, and all other sources of damage
Likewise, whenever the explorer is below 0 hit points and suffers enough damage to reduce his hit points to -10 or lower he is instead reduced to -9 and stabilized.
This ability functions 1+ Constitution modifier/day.
- Danger Sense (Ranged)
at 15th level, the explorer may use his keen wits to avoid harm, so long as he is no more then lightly encumbered and either wearing no armor or light armor, the explorer may add his Intelligence modifier to his armor class against hurled attacks and all other ranged attacks.
- All over the world (perfect)
at 18th level Increase the bonus on heal, knowledge (geography), and survival checks by another +1 to +5. Also gain an additional bonus language from the following list; Abyssal, Aquan, Auran, Celestial, Draconic, Dwarven, Elven, Giant, Gnome, Goblin, Gnoll, Halfling, Ignan, Infernal, Orc, Sylvan, Terran, Undercommon.
